Seventh grade continues to operate in interdisciplinary teams, and continues to foster student responsibility and independence in preparation for high school. The Jefferson Middle School seventh grade is comprised of two teams, the Stars and the Thunderbolts.
Star Team Supplies List
- A binder system for the core courses:
- Choose either a single, large binder or separate binders for each course.
- The math and science courses each require a separate 1 ½” binder.
- We suggest that the subject name is labeled: math, English, literature, life science, and world history.
- Loose leaf, lined paper for each binder
- A pocket folder for each course in which completed homework should be placed
- Pencils/eraser caps
- Pens
- Highlighters
- Pencil pouch or box if desired
- One that clips into a binder is great.
- One single - subject notebook.
- A scientific calculator (a graphing calculator is not needed).
- The student’s name should be on the calculator.
- 3 or more boxes of tissues for your homeroom
- Headphones that are NOT wireless
Thunderbolt Supply List
Student Supplies:
- 3” binder (zipper or velcro close recommended)
- 6 pocket folders
- Clip-in pencil case
- Pencils
- Highlighters
- Scientific calculator
- Inexpensive headphones that are compatible with a computer jack and do not require charging.
- Bluetooth/wireless headphones are not permitted on the Thunderbolt team.
Supplies to be collected by homeroom teacher:
- 3 or more boxes of tissues
- 1 pack of lined paper
- 1 pack of blue or black pens
- 1 pack of index cards
- 1 pack of pencils
- 1 pack of colored pencils
