Mt. Lebanon High School Hosts PMEA District Orchestra Festival
Mt. Lebanon was proud to host the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District Orchestra Festival in January, welcoming more than 140 student musicians from 39 schools across a five-county region. Under the direction of guest conductor Dr. Rotem Weinberg of West Virginia University, students collaborated in an intensive rehearsal experience culminating in a showcase performance.
Representing Mt. Lebanon were Eve Magleby-Lambert, Vivian Luo, Lyra Stiglitz, Katie Ding, Maya Kashlan, Charlotte Nielsen, Joe Curran, Evgenii Matros, Mitantsiki Rakotozafy, Alejandro Voisin-Puglielli, Henry Keplar, Charlotte Houghton, and (not pictured) Leo Nowatzki.
